Pre-owned Piaget Watches

In 1874, on a small family farm in the Swiss Jura Mountains, Georges Piaget put together a watch movement workshop. Step by step the household business evolved into a watch and jewellery heavyweight. Through the first half of the 20th century, the family unit dedicated its trade to watchmaking, establishing itself as a trademark in 1943. It was not until the late 1950s that the team ventured into jewellery, when they opened a dedicated factory in Geneva. As far as horology is concerned, Piaget is usually associated with jewellery watches, or high-end timepieces often elaborately decorated with precious stones. As well as this however, Piaget has consistently lead the field in ultra-thin watches, starting with the world’s thinnest automatic watch in 1960, and more recently in 2014, the Altiplano 900P, at 3.65 millimetres, is currently the world’s thinnest hand-wound mechanical watch.
