Xupes Handbags & Jewellery LTD is a company registered in England & Wales (07010901) with its registered address at 5 Ducketts Wharf, South Street, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 3AR.
Xupes operates a resale omnichannel for the sale, purchase and consignment of designer goods, selling both unworn and pre-loved bags, jewellery and fashion accessories from luxury brands.
Buying from Xupes
Delivery
Goods will be dispatched the same day payment clears providing this is before 12pm and are sent fully insured.
Customs & Local Taxes
If you are based outside the UK, you may have to pay import or other taxes, fees or charges applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt.
While we are not liable for these additional charges and have no control over them, we do encourage research of these prior to purchasing from us.
We will make a full value disclosure, where required, on all items sent overseas and this is required to ensure proper insurance cover in sending valuable items.
If you are unsure about whether these charges apply, you should contact your local tax or customs office for further information.
Payment
Debit/Credit Cards
We accept all major cards; all payments must be conducted by the cardholder only using our secure online payment system provided by Adyen.
We do not accept card payments over the phone other than an agreed holding deposit.
Payments may be subject to a holding period under which circumstance notification will be provided.
We have a strict 3D secure rule base that means all your personal information provided (address, postcode, passwords etc.) must match the card being used.
Additional proof of identification may be requested to support payment, this may include; passport, driver's licence, utility bill or bank statement.

Bank Transfer
We accept payment via bank transfer and a pro-forma invoice will be provided which will contain all the details required to complete the transfer.
Cash Payments
Xupes is not a registered high value dealer with HMRC and therefore cannot accept cash payments in excess of €10,000 or the equivalent in GBP sterling.
We do not accept payments of cash deposited directly into our bank account.
SplitIt
Splitit offers you a flexible way of paying for items in instalments, by reserving the available line of credit on your credit card. Each month, according to your desired payment plan, Splitit collects the instalment amount and reissues the authorisation request for the remaining balance.
It is important to note that payments are still charged on your existing credit card. Splitit simply provides you the method to do this and information about the instalments.
Each month the instalment appears on your statement as individual charge items with the name Xupes. These payments will appear monthly according to your instalment plan, with the same charge amount each time.
Your item is shipped after your first instalment has been processed.
You can pay using Splitit with a Mastercard, Visa or American Express.
Debit cards and pre-paid cards are not accepted.
If you are using a valid Mastercard or Visa, a UK resident and purchasing an Item worth over £400 or more, you are eligible for Splitit
No credit check is required if you use a Splitit instalment plan and there is no impact on your credit score. All the bank sees are the individual instalment charges each month. If one of your payment authorisations is declined, there is still no effect on your credit rating.

Klarna
Klarna is a global payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment.
To be eligible for Klarna Financing you must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident.
Your application approval is subject to Klarna's review of the details you provide and your financial circumstances.
A full credit search will also be performed when you apply for a Klarna Financing agreement.

Returns
We offer the opportunity to return items within 30 days of receipt either in-store or by post.
A full refund of the purchase price, excluding delivery costs, will be provided upon the safe receipt of items in the same condition as supplied.
The liability for any damage incurred during transit will remain with the sender. All items dispatched by us are sent fully insured and we recommend that similar insurnce be placed on items when returning them to us.
All returns must be communicated prior to an item being sent back.
When sending a return to us, the required fields on the provided returns form must be completed and signed to confirm whether you would like a refund or exchange.
Returns must be sent using the original packaging and sealed securely, enclosing the returns from inside.
Sourcing
If you are unable to find item you are looking for online, you may submit a sourcing enquiry on our website, and our buying team will do our best to find it for you.
Upon receipt of a sourcing enquiry submitted via our online form, we will add your details to our wish list and contact you when the item you are looking for comes back into stock or becomes available to us.
Specially sourced products will require full payment in order to secure the item and sales are final, not subject to our usual return and refund policy.
Authentication
Please note, we have no association or affiliation with the brands that we mention or sell. Every item that we curate for our collection has been independently authenticated in-house by our team of specialists.

Money Back Guarantee for Authenticity
In the event that an item is proven to be inauthentic, the client will be entitled to a refund under our money-back guarantee for authenticity, subject to the following conditions:
The item must be confirmed as not authentic by the brand itself. This guarantee does not extend to the opinions of individuals or alternative entities.
The confirmation of inauthenticity must be provided in writing. Verbal statements, such as those from a sales associate in a store, will not be accepted as valid proof of inauthenticity.
Selling with Xupes
When looking to sell an item through Xupes please submit a sell your item enquiry via our online form. A member of our buying team will be in touch to discuss your options which may include outright purchase, consignment and part-exchange.
When submitting your item for sale with us you guarantee that your item is free from finance, theft and is authentic. We reserve the right to have any item checked by a third party and to return it to you, requesting a full refund should these terms not be met.
It is the client's responsibility to send any offered items to us. We do not cover any postage fees and we recommend sending your item(s) using Royal Mail, DHL or ParcelForce.
Please note that any fine jewellery submitted for sale with us must be accompanied by its original brand paperwork and purchase receipt.
Outright Purchase
Any outright purchase offer is valid for 14 days and subject to inspection for condition and authenticity. It is subject to amendment or withdrawal until an item passes our inspection and authentication process which on most occasions is completed in-house.
If an item requires extensive servicing or restoration from a third-party provider, the process may be delayed, and an updated offer will be sent once the costs and timeline have been determined.
Any goods that we determine to be inauthentic will be returned to the client at their expense within 5 working days and if not collected after 14 days the item will be destroyed.
If an item passes inspection the offer will be confirmed, and payment made within 5 working days.
Consignment
Once a product has passed our inspection process and any servicing work has been completed it will be listed for sale, we aim for this to be completed by 2 weeks for bags and 3 weeks for jewellery, items that are sent to brands for servicing may take longer.
Once an item has sold and the returns period has elapsed payment will be made reflective of the commission agreement with deductions of our commission fee and any servicing costs.
If a client wishes to withdraw an item, they should send a request to our team. If the item has been listed for less than 4 months a withdrawal fee of £100 applies to cover administration and postage costs.
Part Exchange
We may also offer you a part-exchange offer which will be valid for 14 days and subject to inspection for condition and authenticity. It is subject to amendment or withdrawal until an item passes our inspection and authentication process which on most occasions is completed in-house.

If the part-exchange value exceeds the value of the item(s) you are looking to acquire, the positive balance will be paid via bank transfer within 5 working days.
Content & Product Information
Our original recommended retail prices, model numbers, sizes, styles etc. are correct to the best of our knowledge. We regularly update information on our website and with changing retail prices and precious metal values these details are subject to change without notification. All older items have a retail value based on today's closest equivalent.
Website Imagery
All the images of the products on the site are of the item featured in the listing, unless otherwise stated and give an accurate representation of condition.
Most of our content has been produced by our in-house creative team who have made every effort to ensure that all the colours of the products for sale are accurate and true to the original item. However, due to the large number of personal devices used to view the website, some slight differences in colour may appear on un-calibrated monitors or screens.

Intellectual Property
Xupes owns all intellectual property rights in its services, website, and any other materials we create, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, images, and text. All materials are protected by copyright, trademark, or other laws.
When submitting content such as reviews, comments, or photos to Xupes, we are granted a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute that content. Users are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Users are prohibited from copying, distributing, or modifying Xupes’ intellectual property, as well as engaging in any activity that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
Users agree to indemnify and hold Xupes harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their use of the Company's intellectual property or from any content they submit that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
Xupes will promptly remove any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others upon receipt of a valid notice from the owner of the intellectual property.
Xupes’ liability for any intellectual property disputes or claims brought against it by third parties is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Promotions
Xupes has the right to end or amend a promotion at any time without notice and are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Promotions are open to all clients aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Xupes Handbags & Jewellery LTD, anyone else professionally associated with the offer or any member of their households.
For clients overseas, the discount will be deducted in GBP and the balance converted using our bank rate.
Promotions are as stated, are non-transferable, no cash alternative will be offered, and no change will be given.
Promotions are not available to be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount and are subject to availability.
Promotions are not applicable to any item already purchased.

Social Media Policy
Xupes welcomes comments about our products and service - however abuse, bullying, swearing, racist and homophobic language will not be tolerated.
Should activity which breaches our social media policy incur, the activity will be deleted or removed. If subsequent activity is posted by the same party, the activity will be deleted, and the party will be blocked from all our social media channels.
Matters will also be reported to the police if deemed necessary.
Limitation of Liability
Xupes shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use Xupes’ products or services.
Force Majeure: Xupes shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to any cause beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, or labor disputes.
In no event shall Xupes’ total liability to the user or any third party arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use Xupes' products or services exceed the amount paid by the user for the products or services.
