Xupes has been a trusted name in the pre-owned market for over thirteen years and we have undergone some big changes of late. With the Chrono24 partnership announced for Xupes watches who will now fully integrate on to their platform, this leaves the handbags, jewellery and accessories departments to continue to trade as Xupes, undergoing an exciting rebrand in early 2023.
The rebrand will be under the direction of Reece Morgan and Debra Willis. Reece, the former photographer and fashion stylist who founded Xupes’ handbag department in 2015 has over eight years of experience in the luxury pre-owned market, a wealth of knowledge on the world’s most luxurious brands and an extensive list of clienteles from the world's elite. Debra has a 25-year career in retail with extensive commercial and business development experience within both global omni-channel retail and consultancy roles, alongside seventeen years in the jewellery industry. They combine their expertise to lead the new Xupes brand, with a mission to set ourselves apart from our competitors through our elevated client experience and become the first choice for luxury shopping.
We spoke to Reece and Debra about what this means for the future of Xupes.
So, what can we expect from the rebrand?
Debra Willis: Xupes will relaunch with an updated visual identity, catering to a more targeted clientele. The website is going under a re-platform to improve user experience and a huge focus will be put on social media to build our engaged community and promote a circular economy.
Reece Morgan: The mission is to become the first choice for luxury shopping, inspiring customers to shop pre-owned before new, connecting clients and products with an uncompromised experience, one pre-loved story at a time.
How will the client experience change in line with this?
Debra Willis: We will always stay true to our brand DNA where the customer experience has always been our top priority. The rebrand gives us the opportunity to refine our product range, providing a 360 accessories offer. Our focus is to improve the website user experience to match our in-store interactions whilst bridging the gap between social media.
Will we see a change in the pieces and brands we can shop?
Reece Morgan: We are continually reviewing our collections and listening to our clientele to build ranges they want to shop! We have recently introduced new brands to the website, including Saint Laurent and are actively building our accessories offer – all based on customer feedback. Our products will always have a heritage brand focus that we are known and loved for.
What can we expect to see from Xupes in the future?
Debra Willis: Look out for our new website which will be launching early in 2023 and product drops full of the items that our clientele loves!
Reece Morgan: Also, keep an eye out on our social media channels including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube as we create lots of interesting, educational content with the potential of alternative ways to shop with us.
