Our consignment process explained...

Consignment. What is it?

Our consignment process allows you to leave all the issues with selling a luxury item to us. All of the stress, worry and dealing with buyers questions are an issue no longer. Once you have filled in our pre-prepared form on our website, describing the item you wish to consign and providing a few photos, our expert valuers will start by analysing the market prices for your specific item. We will then contact you with a bespoke idea of pricing and commission for your specific piece.

As we want to achieve the best price and therefore return for your item, we will indicate any aesthetic or mechanical service work that may need to be carried out by our expert team of watchmakers. This will be agreed on before any further progress is made. Once this is agreed we can provide a signed consignment agreement, dependant on inspection of the item.

The item will then be professionally photographed, edited and uploaded to our website and across the further platforms that we use to market our products. This will be done as soon as we can to ensure that the product is live as quick as possible and the quality is of the highest order to give the best chance of selling. In the incidences where the item needs some service work, we will shoot a single ‘pre-service’ image and upload it. We have found this to be successful as part of the process as it allows potential clients to see what we have coming soon and leave a deposit on the item for full payment as soon as the service work is completed.

The item will then be live for any enquiries to be fielded by our expert teams of sales executives. We will track market prices in the time your item is with us, advising you on any changes in this time that may affect your item. Once an agreement has been made with the new owner, our dedicated consignment associate will inform you of the sale and upon completion of the 30-day return period and you will transfer the balance into the required account.

We will be able to offer consignment drop off in Bishop’s Stortford and Central London. Your item will be fully insured with us the whole time it is in our possession, including postage insurance.
