Pre-owned Glashutte Watches
Glashütte is the name of a small town in East Germany.
Despite its population being under 5,000, it is the birthplace of A. Lange & Söhne and Glashütte
Original, and is the epicentre of German watchmaking. Both said brands, along
with a handful of others, were initially part of a conglomerate that was
initiated in 1845 by F.A. Lange. The conglomerate disbanded and the Swatch
group now owns Glashütte Original. GO is one of the few watchmakers that use
its own movements; in fact, it currently owns ten unique movements. The company
produces technically impressive mechanical watches that border the standards of
its more famous brother A. Lange & Söhne, but at a more modest price.
