WATCHES
We sell only branded watches. All are provided with a minimum 12 month
warranty (unless otherwise stated) from Xupes Ltd. The watch movement is
covered under this warranty however this does not apply to any
inappropriate damage caused by mistreatment of your watch. The warranty
does not cover damage to bracelets, cases, crystals/glasses, or damage
arising from use in water. We do not cover accidental damage or loss.
Our Xupes warranty is not transferable. We provide every watch sold with
a free replacement valuation, which can be used for insurance purposes.
In addition clients receive a statutory 7 day money back guarantee on
all watches, which we deliver via the mail providing they are returned
to us in their original condition. All returns must be agreed with Xupes
beforehand.
As well as selling quality watches, we also offer additional services: watch cleaning and refurbishment and watch servicing and repair.
JEWELLERY
We sell fine jewellery and work with specialist suppliers to bring you
honest and accurate descriptions. We maintain a full photographic record
of all pieces sold. We are unable to accept returns where items have
been specifically modified or made for a client and encourage our
clients to physically view and try items prior to purchase. We can
however modify items (such as resizing rings) although there may be a
small charge. Returns of items sent by mail will be accepted for the
statutory 7 day period after delivery. However any tampering or
alteration will invalidate this guarantee. All returns must be agreed
with Xupes beforehand.
ART, ANTIQUES & PHOTOGRAPHY
All art, antiques and photography are sold as described and are also
fully guaranteed to be as described. In the unlikely event of an error
in the description we will accept the return for a full refund of the
costs. We pride ourselves in our honesty and integrity and again offer a
statutory 7 day money back guarantee on all items, which are sent via
the mail providing that these are returned to us in their original
condition. All returns must be agreed with Xupes beforehand.
THE JOSEPH MCKENZIE ARCHIVE
We are delighted to offer exclusive material from the Joseph McKenzie
Archive. Born in 1929 and based in Scotland since the early 1960s Joseph
McKenzie is probably the finest British photographer to emerge from the
20th Century. Scotland has been very quick to adopt him as the 'Father
of Modern Scottish photography'. We are delighted therefore to have
access to this vast lifetime accumulated collection of exceptional
quality work and are pleased to be able to offer examples for sale.
We also offer a commission sales service to clients wishing to sell appropriate items using our website.
Buying from Xupes
Making a purchase could not be easier. Please browse our catalogue,
select the item in which you are interested, add the item to you’re
shopping cart and follow the necessary steps. You can also contact us
via phone or email. Some items will require approval at checkout in
which case you will be informed and one of our team will be in touch as
soon as possible. We will provide you with the full cost including
delivery and you can choose a suitable payment method to confirm the
transaction. We are able to spread payments using a 'lay away' plan
where clients are unable to make immediate payment. Items will be
removed from sale for a period of 5 days to allow clients to make
payment arrangements.

The majority of our stock is held in secure premises away from our
offices. We are able to facilitate private viewings upon request and
subject to prior appointment.
Local Taxes
All items are inclusive of all local taxes but may be subject to
additional charges for importation and taxes local to the client. While
we are not liable for these additional charges we do encourage clients
to research these prior to purchasing items from us. We will make a full
value disclosure, where required, on all items sent overseas and this
is required to ensure proper insurance cover in sending valuable items.
Our Watches
We rate the condition of all watches on a scale out of 10. If we mark a
watch as 10/10 this means the watch is in unworn condition complete with
all manuals, box, and manufacturers warranty (details of which will be
specified in the description). For older watches we may choose to mark
them as 10/10 if they are in immaculate condition. If a watch is marked
as 9/10 this generally means the box and papers have been misplaced or
the watch may be a little below the 'immaculate' standard. 'Unworn'
applies to a watch that was recently purchased new and has not been
worn.
Where possible we can adjust any bracelets to fit your wrist before
sending a watch. Please kindly let us know your wrist size in
centimeters or inches and we will make any appropriate changes including
any spare links with your watch. We can also obtain additional links
although these may be subject to additional costs.
All our watches are fully authenticated by our watch specialists before
advertisement and all watches are offered in full working condition.
Payments To Xupes
We accept the following payment methods:
Personal Cheques
All cheque payments are subject to 10 working days clearance after cheque has been cashed.
Bankers Drafts
All bankers drafts are subject to 14 working days clearance and authentication.
Card Payments
We accept all major credit cards although all payments must be conducted
using our secure online payments system provided by Sagepay by the
cardholder only. We do not accept credit card payments over the phone.
Payments may be subject to a holding period under which circumstance
notification will be provided. We have a strict 3D secure rule base that
means all you address and passwords must match the card being used. If
you have any questions regarding this please call us to discuss.
Debit Cards
All debit card payments are free from any additional charge.
Credit Cards
We accept most major credit cards excluding American Express and Diners.
All credit card payments attract a 3.50% handling charge of the total
balance.
Cash on collection
Any amounts over £10,000 will need to be supported by two forms of ID
and an explanation of where the funds came from (this is to comply with
new money laundering laws). Payments in cash may also be deposited
directly into our bank account.
All payments should be made payable to 'Xupes Limited' and cheques will have to clear before goods can be dispatched.

We use various methods of delivery and these can be discussed and agreed at the time of purchase.

Art & Antiques will be dispatched within 2 working days of cleared
payment. Watches & Jewellery will be dispatched the same day payment
clears providing this is before 3pm.
Guarantee & Returns Policy
In compliance with distance selling regulations we offer all clients the opportunity to return items within 7 days of receipt.
A full refund of the purchase price, excluding delivery costs, will
be provided upon the safe receipt of items in the same condition as
supplied. The liability for any damage incurred during transit will
remain with the sender and all items dispatched by us will be sent fully
insured.
We recommend that similar insurance be placed on items when returning them to us.

correct to the best of our knowledge and we appreciate your feedback

change without notification. All older items/watches have a retail value
based on today's closest equivalent.
