Our Opinion
Offered here is a stunning example of the Rolex Daytona 116509 - 18k white gold with what believe to be a special order ‘Turquoise Beach Dial’ with applied Roman numeral hour markers manufactured in 2010.
The dial on this white gold Daytona is the same as found on the short run of Beach Daytona’s that were produced at the turn of the millennium. We believe this Daytona to be a special-order piece requested by a preferred Rolex client choosing a distinctive Beach Turquoise dial making this example a very limited version of the White Gold Daytona.
Technical Details And Description.
Featuring a Turquoise Beach dial with three sub-dials, fixed engraved tachymeter in a white gold bezel, numeral applied Roman white gold markers, the watch is fitted with the classic Oyster white gold bracelet and white gold deployment clasp. This Daytona is waterproof to 100m, it is powered by a chronometer rated automatic movement.
The overall condition of this ‘Special Order Beach Daytona’ is flawless. The case does not show any signs of over-polishing, with the lugs all being equal along with the top edges well defined.
The bezel's 18k white gold counting ring is in excellent condition, with no dings or scratches with the engraving for the black writing and numbers being very clear and sharp.
This stunning ‘Special Order Daytona’ is accompanied by all its original Rolex accessories inclusive of inner and outer boxes, manuals, hang tags, guarantee and Rolex service papers dated 2021.
