CARTIER SANTOS 100 18K ROSE GOLD UNIQUE PIECE - Reference 2935
Offered here is a stunning and unique example of the Cartier Santos 100 - 18k Rose Gold with factory-applied diamonds to the dial and case. We understand this astonishing Cartier Santos was produced by Cartier for a prominent middle east client and is believed to be a one-off example. Manufactured circa 2008.
Cartier Santos History And Specific Details
The original Cartier Santos was reportedly designed and created by Louis Cartier himself in 1904 for his friend and pioneer, Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The Santos has been a major piece in the Cartier collection for a long time and in 2004 Cartier released their Santos 100 line which included larger Santos models.
This Santos 100 reference 2935 (large Size) case is in polished rose-gold embellished with beautiful factory-applied diamonds to the sides and face.
The factory-applied diamonds are also correlated on the dial in a pave format.
Cartier has always been associated with exquisite craftsmanship and elegant designs that have for a century attracted royalty, movie stars, sports celebrities, and everyday clientele. The present Santos perfectly encapsulates the brand's ethos with its elegant, polished case and applied diamonds.
The rose-gold skeleton sword-shaped hour and minute hands are paired with a hair-thin, rose-gold seconds hand for an amazing, elegant look. The recessed sub-dials are very legible with the combined rose gold baton hands and black numeral counters.
This uniquely styled Santos 2935 with contrasting brown alligator leather strap and rose gold deployment clasp, falls precisely into the category of a large-size dress watch.
It is powered by an automatic movement with a rose gold crown that is finished with an inlaid diamond.
The overall condition of this unique Cartier Santos is excellent with practically no signs of wear, the rose gold mirror polished case and factory-applied diamonds are completely unmarked.
