Reference 2510.OR has 4 subsidiary dials at 3 and 9 for the date and day of the week, the aperture at 6 is for the moon phase and the sub-dial at 12 displays the month and leap year cycle.

Description And History Of The Royal Oak Quantieme Perpetual
It has been nearly 50 years since the creation of the original Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and this now iconic watch is more popular than ever. First unveiled by Audemars Piguet in the 1970s and designed by Gerald Genta who also designed the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Royal Oak has become a distinctive classic with its distinctive features and its role as a pioneer for a luxury sports watch.

To celebrate its 120th anniversary in 1995, Audemars Piguet released a superlative Royal Oak limited to just 120 pieces. This watch has a Quantieme Perpetual complication, known as a perpetual calendar in English, which displays the day, date, month, and position of the current year in the leap-year cycle.

The 39 mm octagonal case and integrated bracelet – both designed by Gerald Genta – are executed in 18k Rose Gold. The matching salmon-coloured dial does not feature the characteristic tappisserie engraving but has a smooth brushed finish, ceding all attention to the beautiful sub-dials. The day, month, leap-year, and date are displayed in the three upper sub-dials together with blued sword hands, whereas the smaller dial at the 6 o’clock position displays a lovely moon phase indicator alongside the Audemars Piguet signature and the company’s anniversary dates. The dial features a rose-gold minute and hour hand handset. A third arrow-tipped hand also allows you to read the week number on the edge of the dial.

This stunning example of the Royal Oak 25810OR is in excellent condition and has been treasured by its previous owner. The salmon brushed dial and rose gold baton markers and hands are beautiful. The rose gold integral bracelet is in very good tight condition with minimal stretch and free from any scratches and wear.
