Offered here is a practically new old stock example of the much-appreciated Unisex 18k yellow gold 35mm AP Royal Oak. This 35mm automatic Royal Oak has a date display at 3 o’clock.
It has been nearly 50 years since the creation of the original Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and this now iconic watch is more popular than ever. First unveiled by Audemars Piguet in the 1970s and designed by Gerald Genta who also designed the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Royal Oak has become a classic with its distinctive features and its role as a pioneer for a luxury sports watch.
This 18k yellow gold example of the Royal Oak is in beautiful practically new old stock condition and appears to have been adored by its previous owner. The Tapisserie cream dial is stunning and the gold gilt baton markers and matching hands are all in the same condition. The bracelet is in good condition with minimal stretch and free from any significant scratches and wear. The yellow gold polished bezel ring and sapphire glass are free of any dings or scratches and enhance the overall appearance of this stunning 35mm Royal Oak.
It also comes with its Audemars Piguet box.
