This superb 18k yellow gold Day-Date is fitted with an incredibly attractive and equally rare rubellite dial with diamond-set numerals. The textured effect of the rubellite adds flair, movement and intrigue to the dial layout and furthermore provides a perfect canvas for the diamond-set numerals to shine on. The calendar windows, like with all hard-stone dials, are framed in precious metal.

The overall condition of this very special Rubellite and Diamond 18k yellow gold Day-Date is excellent. The case appears to have been very lightly polished in the past and retains strong equal lugs along with the brushed finish to the top edges remaining very well defined, the 18k gold fluted bezel has no dings or scratches and really compliments the overall appearance of this 36mm Day-Date. The Rubellite dial is in stunning condition along with the rectangular gold apertures for the day and date windows. The gold surround and diamond inserted hour markers are stunning and the matching gold hands really enhance the overall appearance of this beautiful Day-Date. The sapphire glass is the correct flat style, inclusive of the Cyclops date window for this model, it is also free of any scratches or marks.

The watch comes on the correct type Rolex 18k gold bracelet and gold end links. The bracelet is showing only light wear and minor stretch.
