Chanel Runway pieces are created specifically for Chanel fashion shows, which happen six times a year. Chanel showcase two ready-to-wear and two couture collections as well as Cruise and Pre-Fall throughout the year. With a host of attention globally, the house creates items which are sure to not only compliment the garments shown, but capture the admiration of millions.
Every Chanel bag is assembled by a team of four artisans, with, on average, 200 operations involved. Runway bags are often far more intricate. It is this level of complexity and craft that makes them so special. A Runway bag must be approved for high-scale production for boutiques. Even once the bag is approved they are only created for a limited time in very limited numbers.
