Xupes have partnered with De Bijenkorf, Netherland’s chain of high-end department stores by launching their first pop-up in the flagship store on Dam Square, Amsterdam.
Shop NowXupes will be the first 'pre-owned' retailer within the department store, and will be located on the ground floor in amongst some of the world’s finest brands such as Cartier, Hermes and Tiffany & Co. With 58net sqm of space, they will be showcasing a range of brands and models from their pre-owned watches collection including Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet to mention a few. The pop-up will also feature a ‘Daytona wall’ displaying thirty ‘hard to get hold of’ pre-owned and vintage Rolex Daytonas of different styles and ages. With so many Daytonas available to buy immediately in one place, and no waiting list, the wall shows customers one of the clear reasons to shop pre-owned vs brand new - availability. The space is designed to reflect the Xupes’s showrooms in the UK and Amsterdam; with warm and relaxing environments that invite clients to take all the time they need to make a purchase.
De Bjenkorf has 7 stores nationwide. The oldest and largest branches are situated in Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Smaller stores can be found in Amstelveen, Eindhoven, Utrecht and Maastricht. The chain is owned by the Weston family, which also owns Britain’s Selfridges, Canada’s Holt Renfrew and Ireland’s Brown Thomas.
