Meet the Stars

‘Second-Hand For 50 Grand’ took you behind the scenes at Xupes, showing you what a typical day in the office looks like and delves into the unique relationships Xupes has with its clients. We now want you to get to know the stars of the show a little better...

Joe

CEO Joe founded Xupes with his father Frank back in 2009, beginning by restoring and selling a handful of Cartier watches, eventually growing the business into what it is today. A self-described watch nerd, Joe could talk chronographs and perpetual calendars for days and loves to help people choose the watch of their dreams. Outside of the office, he’s a dab-hand in the kitchen and enjoys rustling up home-cooked meals for his wife Kirsty and two young sons Hugo and Max.

Reece

Reece joined Xupes in 2014 and after a year on the photography team, created the Handbags & Accessories department in 2015. As head of the department, he splits his time between sourcing new stock and focussing on client relationships, often delivering rare pieces to VIP clients. Outside of work, Reece can usually be found in Nobu or at a fashion show with a handbag from his extensive personal collection. It’s also not his first time in front of the cameras, having starred in a Pizza Hut commercial as a kid.

Rose

Fashion and Clothing Design graduate Rose joined the Handbags & Accessories team in 2017 and is always on hand to offer advice on finding the right handbag for her clients. She also works a lot with the creative department at Xupes, getting in front of the camera to model for campaign shoots and helping with styling behind the scenes. When she’s not at the office, Rose is either out running, or continuing her second career as a model and stylist, having been in the industry for 13 years.

Megan

Megan heads up the watch servicing centre at Xupes and joined the team in 2019. Having been working in watchmaking since she was 17, Megan is in her element surrounded by watch parts and fixing problems with complex watches that would boggle most minds. Outside of the workshop, Megan is pretty creative, playing both piano and guitar and helping out on-set with her film-maker partner.
