Product Details
A stunning and elegant Art Nouveau Villeroy & Boch Mettlach twin handled art pottery vase of bottle shape with a squat wide rounded body standing on a narrow rounded foot with a tall slender neck with loop handles applied to either side of the body. The vase is decorated with tubelined stems twisting around and running down the neck with a multitude of floral blooms around the upper body of the vase. The vase is decorated in contrasting blue majolica glazes with yellow glazes to the inside of the vase. The vase has printed makers marks for the period 1874-1909 to the base along with the number 2733 and a date mark '04' for 1904. The vase is offered in excellent condition with customary age crazing to the glaze.
