Product Details
A very large, hand-knotted Persian rug originating from North West Persia, specifically the region of Heris. The rug has overall measurements of 4.62m x 3.55m and still retains original fringing to both ends. The rug is dated circa 1945 and is in fine condition for its age. The rug has rich, bold colours, the base colour is a rustic red tone and the design is predominantly blues, greens and beiges. It has a far more geometric/tribal patternation, therefore really lending itself to a modern interior. Heriz rugs are known for their exceptional durability and are often handed down generations within families. All of the photographs are taken by our in-house photographer and are an accurate representation of the item. Please bear in mind the colours can appear different from opposing ends depending on the direction of the pile.
