Product Details
An intricate hand-knotted runner originating from central Persia, specifically the region of Esfahan. The runner measures 2.36m x 0.78m and retains original fringing. The runner has an all-over print featuring a Shah Abbasi motif made up of palmettes and six smaller rosettes running down the centre of the runner. This example has a neutral ivory base and the design is depicted in deep red and blue. A very subtly designed runner with inoffensive colouring that would compliment a number of interior styles. Esfahan rugs are of great quality due to their tightly woven pile, meaning they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also have great longevity. All of the photographs are taken by our in-house photographer and are an accurate representation of the item. Please bear in mind the colours can appear different from opposing ends depending on the direction of the pile. We offer the service of viewing any of these rugs on an appointment only basis at our London (N1) warehouse and are happy to answer any further queries you may have prior to purchase.
