We offer this superb antique Chinese Tibetan brass mounted copper teapot applied with figural panels and a dragon head spout dating from the 19th century. The teapot stands on a narrow rounded foot with a squat rounded bulbous body with a funnel shaped neck. A shaped flat handle mounted with a moulded figural brass panel is attached to the side and the teapot has raised brass narrow pouring spout moulded as a dragon head. The teapot has a hat shaped fitted cover the top applied with a moulded brass figural paneland with a brass rim. The cover fits tightly and the copper body of the lid and tea pot is finely decorated with floral designs with birds and symbols to the cover. The body of the teapot has brass figural panels applied to either side with a brass floral moulded top and rim. The teapot is not marked.
