  • We offer this stunning antique casket shaped inlaid papiermache twin compartment tea caddy dating from the 19th century. The tea caddy standing raised on four square shaped feet is of rectangular shape with a slightly domed hinged cover with a shaped rim opening to reveal two silver paper lined compartments with handled floral design covers. The outer body is decorated with painted and inlaid mother of pearl floral designs on a black ground with a keyhole escutcheon and the caddy is not marked.
