  • We offer this stunning antique Doulton Lambeth art pottery floral design vase by Francis E Lee dated 1880. This tall elegantly shaped stoneware bottle vase stands on a narrow rounded base with a rounded bulbous body and with a tall slender neck. The vase is decorated with large flower heads set within a leaf and stipple border and set within a detailed textured ground. The vase has incised leaf designs around the foot with further similar designs around the neck set with small floral and stipple borders. The vase is decorated in white, blue and green on a salt glazed brown ground. The vase has an impressed Doulton Lambeth mark to the base along with an incised FEL mark for Francis E Lee together with assistant marks for Louisa Matterson and Ellen Rumbol with further incised marks. The vase is also dated 1880.
