  • From a good collection of vintage Indian Jaipur enameled and jeweled figures we offer this superb portrayal of the Maharaja’s procession with riders on a horse, camel and elephant dating from the early to mid 20th century. The procession is mounted on a long narrow raised base decorated with floral designs and is mounted with a horse and rider leading a camel and rider with the Maharaja sat within a canopied howdah on an elephant led by a rider. Each is finely decorated with richly coloured enamels set with jewels. The enamels are set within a silver outline and the horse and camel have seed pearl and beaded reigns and the elephant with hanging seed pearl tassels. The elephant is also set with polished jewels to the body. The figure has an impressed makers and Silver mark to the base.
