  • We are pleased to offer this rare and unusual antique Chinese Qing cube shaped lidded teapot hand painted with double panels to each side in polychrome colours with figures and birds and dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The square shaped porcelain teapot stands raised on four small feet and has a square cut shaped handle and a straight square sided spout. A small rounded lid with a peach handle sits flush within a central recess and the teapot is finely decorated with double panels to each side, one painted with figures and the other with birds above a decorative leaf border. The top of the teapot and lid has a patterned finish with gilded around the rims. The teapot is not marked.
