  • Originating from an extensive private collection we are delighted to offer this fine and rare Doulton Burslem blue painted Childrens Ware moon vase painted with two small children in bonnets fascinated by a small pixie figure and dating from around 1910. The pottery vase stands raised on three small tripod legs and has a flat rounded body with a short funnel shaped top. The body of the vase is painted in underglaze blue with two small children sat below a tree wearing lace bonnets and fascinated by a small pixie figure. The vase has a landscape scene to the reverse with gilding sprayed around the top and painted to the feet. The vase has a Doulton Burslem mark to the base.
