  • We offer this stunning antique English art pottery vase decorated with floral designs and designed by James Dewdney for Charles Brannam and is dated 1883. This stylish earthenware bottle shaped vase has a rounded bulbous body with a tall slender neck. The body of the vase has low relief carved floral designs set against a stipple design ground and painted in brown colours with a blue painted ground. The vase has blue and brown bandings applied around the top and lower rim of the vase and is a stylish example from this sought after pottery. The vase has an incised CH Brannam mark to the base along with an incised JD monogram for James Dewdney. The vase is also dated 1883. One of a large collection of English art pottery which we are currently selling on behalf of a collector!
