Product Details

  • We offer this very rare Arts & Crafts double gourd vase designed by Christopher Dresser for Linthorpe and dating from around 1880. This stunning vase stands on a flat rounded base with a rounded double gourd shaped body with a narrow funnel shaped top. The body of the vase is decorated in a slightly rough cast yellow glaze spattered over a streaked green ground and is simple spectacular. The glazes have run under the base of the vase and partially covered the markings although the partial Linthorpe mark is still visible along with the design number 326 and there is a feint incised Christopher Dresser signature mark to the centre of the base.
