  • We offer this rare antique Doulton Lambeth salt glazed Double XX Toby on barrel jug made for Phillips of Oxford Street, London and dating from around 1891. The stoneware jug portrays Toby seated on an upright barrel with the letters XX moulded to the front. The pouring spout forms part of his tri-corn hat his hair forming the handle with a tied bow terminal. The jug has various marks to the base including a Doulton Lambeth mark along with the words MANUFACTURED FOR PHILLIPS OXFORD ST LONDON and a registration number dating the jug to around 1891.
