We offer this delightful antique Russian bronze sculpture, after the model by Vasily Grachev (1831-1905) cast by KF Woerffel in the late 19th century. The model portrays a man driving a horse-drawn sleigh mounted on an oval shaped base inscribed in Cyrillic with LEP GRACHEV and FAB. K.F.WOERFFEL ST PETERSBURG. This stylish sculpture is finished in a wonderful rich brown patina.

Condition

The sculpture is offered in excellent original condition without loss or damage. The screws on the base are slightly loose but the figure appears to be firmly attached. With a wonderful patina this is a very fine and decorative example.
