An unusual antique Art Nouveau advertising bronze figural desk stand made for the Reason Manufacturing Co. Ltd dating from around 1905. The heavily cast desk stand is modeled as a small tray shaped stand moulded with the words INVENTIONS EXPLOITED AND PERFECTED with a centrally mounted figure of a lady holding a lamp. A further moulded plaque is mounted behind the figure with details of the company and its products.
