A very rare and exceptional quality antique Chinese famille rose armourial plate made for the Peach family and dating from the 18th century. The hexagonal shaped porcelain plate is recorded as part of a unique service made for the family and is exceptionally well painted with figures flying a kite within a landscape with a lavishly painted armourial crest above. There is a building to one side with a two character mark above the door but the plate is otherwise not marked.
